MAC addresses are not used instead of IP addresses because MAC addresses are tied to the physical hardware of a device, such as a network card, and do not change. This makes them unsuitable for routing data over networks, as they are only relevant within the local network. IP addresses, on the other hand, are designed to be unique identifiers for devices on a network and are used for routing data across different networks. Additionally, IP addresses are easier to manage and assign than MAC addresses. **

Stream addresses are unique identifiers assigned to individual streams of data within a network. They are used to differentiate between different streams of information being transmitted, allowing for efficient routing and delivery of data packets. Stream addresses help ensure that data is sent to the correct destination and can be used to manage the flow of information within a network. **

Yes, email addresses can expire. This can happen if the email provider goes out of business, if the user does not log in for an extended period of time, or if the user fails to renew a paid email service. In some cases, email addresses may also be deactivated if they are associated with a domain that is no longer in use. It's important to regularly check and maintain your email account to prevent it from expiring. **

Addresses were rewritten to ensure that the mail reaches the intended recipient accurately and efficiently. This process helps to standardize the format of addresses, correct any errors or inconsistencies, and ensure that the postal service can easily process and deliver the mail. By rewriting addresses, it reduces the chances of mail being misdirected or lost, ultimately improving the overall delivery process. **

Yes, the addresses are correct. **

No, there are no IPv5 addresses. The Internet Protocol version 5 (IPv5) was an experimental protocol that was never widely adopted. Instead, the current widely used versions of the Internet Protocol are IPv4 and IPv6. IPv4 is the most commonly used version, but due to the depletion of available IPv4 addresses, IPv6 is being increasingly implemented to accommodate the growing number of devices connected to the internet. **

IP addresses, or Internet Protocol addresses, are unique numerical labels assigned to devices connected to a computer network. They serve as the device's identification and enable it to communicate with other devices on the network. There are two main types of IP addresses: IPv4, which consists of four sets of numbers separated by periods, and IPv6, which uses a longer format to accommodate the growing number of devices connected to the internet. IP addresses are essential for routing data packets across the internet and ensuring that information reaches its intended destination. **

False IP addresses are IP addresses that have been manipulated or spoofed to appear as if they belong to a different device or network. This can be done for malicious purposes, such as hiding the true origin of an attack or attempting to gain unauthorized access to a system. False IP addresses can also be used for privacy reasons, such as when using a VPN to mask one's true IP address. It is important to be cautious of false IP addresses, as they can be used to deceive or compromise systems. **
